Ticketing Policies

Ticketing, Seating, and Video/Photo Policies

Poison Apple is non-profit 501c3 organization that is managed solely by volunteers. We do not have standard operating hours; our volunteers will respond to ticketing inquiries as soon as possible.

POISON APPLE PLAYHOUSE & ACADEMY

Our theaters are general admission. Patrons enter based upon the time they check in to the box office. Please respect the process and your fellow patrons by entering only when your number is called.  We kindly request that you do not “jump the line” to be with friends or others.

Ticketing

Players, Ensemble, Shakes, Teens, & Main Stage Performances: All patrons must have a ticket for entrance.

Seeds (I, II & III) Performances: Children under 3 are free IF sitting on the lap of an adult paying patron. (Children under 3 may occupy a seat only if there is space available. Please check with the House Manager.)

Summer Camp Performances: Children under 3 are free IF sitting on the lap of an adult

paying patron. (Children under 3 may occupy a seat only if there is space available, or if you purchase their seat. Please check with the House Manager.)

Ticket Exchanges

Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same event, depending upon availability and will result in a $5 service fee. There is no guarantee that seats will be available and if they are not, we DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS. Please email our Audience Services Manager for ticketing needs.

Ticket Fees

All ticket prices include the fees charged to Poison Apple by any vendor.

Wait Lists

Some of our performances may sell out. In this case, we will provide a waitlist opportunity and our Audience Services Manager will be in contact should a ticket become available.

Box Office 

The box office will open 45 min. prior to the show and concessions will be available for purchase. Patrons are encouraged to wait in the lobby prior to the show.

Seating

Patrons enter and are seated based upon the time they check in to the box office.  In consideration of other patrons, there is no saving of seats. 

During a performance, if for any reason you must leave the theater, there is no re-entry.  

Lobby Seating

We have a limited number of seats available in our lobby should  a show sell out but you still wish to attend. Please ask our Audience Services Manager for ticketing information.

Late Seating

Due to the nature of our theater, late seating cannot be accommodated. The performance House Manager will advise in these cases. If it is not, you will be afforded a seat in the Lobby to watch the show.

Special Seating Requests

Poison Apple Playhouse can accommodate one wheelchair/mobility apparatus per

performance. Please be sure to indicate your need for accommodation when purchasing your ticket(s). Should we be unable to accommodate due to space, our Audience Services Manager will contact you for alternate seating/dates.

If you require an accommodation otherwise (non-wheelchair), please indicate in your notes when purchasing your ticket. Our Audience Services Manager and show House Manager will review prior to show time.

Accommodated seating includes the person + 1paid companion. The entire group (should you be more than two people) will not be included in priority seating.

We are not equipped with assistive listening systems for hearing impaired patrons and our shows often do not include microphones for our actors.

LESHER CENTER FOR THE ARTS

On occasion, our Players, Ensemble, Teen, and Mainstage shows are performed at Lesher Center for the Arts in downtown Walnut Creek. All ticketing for these shows is handled by the professionals in that theater. Please visit www.lesherartscenter.org or call 925.943-7469 for ticket and other information.

Videography and Photography

Due to licensing restrictions, there is no videography or photography allowed during the performance of any show in any theater. There is no exception. Should you be found to be in violation of this policy, you will be asked to leave the theater and pay the fine should one be imposed upon Poison Apple. Thank you for your understanding and

cooperation.
